Had to desaturate the reds in PS, might still look too saturated??
Slight Crop on bottom and right.
Darkened the BG with linear burn as it was a t-shirt and you could see the texture.
Flashlight held to illuminate the center.:)
    Comments Appreciated.

Wow, great details in the petal, I really like it. I like how you use flashlight to illuminate the center, will keep that in mind. Oh, the red might still look a bit saturated in my opinion.

great details! I like how you cropped it, you don't always need the complete subject to know what is there. great angle to get the small details out in front of the black to show them off.
    super job.

    Gorgeous Jackie !!!

Everything is working for you here Love the point of focus to stretch the dof and fine framing !! Might be a little over saturated but looks good .. high impact !!!

    Hi Jackie:

Nice shot with incredible image contrast. The flower seems to be in 3D. The DOF is very good althoug F32 is too high and maybe resolution could be affected by difraction. Anyway I like it.
Looking forward to see the next.

    Bye,

Jackie, wow, I like it! Talk about making do with what you have at hand, a T-shirt and a flashlight!! I never would have guessed. I agree with Lance on the composition and background. Without checking, the saturation of the reds looks a little high to me, too. I prefer the large DOF here with all the detail in the petals. All in all, I like it very much.

Love the detail and DOF. I agree that it has a bit of a 3D appearance.

Thanks everyone for the comments. After assessing the colour of the flower I think it is about right. Printing it up may be a problem though. Just need the Epson 2880 which detects over-saturation and doesn't lay down as much ink in overly saturated images :)

Nicely done Lady Jackie...the color rendition is very good and the placement of your flower in frame, the blackground makes it pop...proud of you...
