Lovely image, perfect light, great gentle colors on the bird.
Perfect HA and inquisitive pose. I wish the shadow on the tail
was not there but it is not too destructing. Great image!
There's a dust bunny of cloning artefact on the right edge,
    I'd clone it away.

BG, soft light, composition, eye contact and perch works very fine here. I would run a noise reduction program to the Bg because noise is visible in most part of the BG, specially under the perch, near the left edge of the frame, and in the upper right quarter.

Lovely warm light and colours Gerrie, and nice and sharp. I like the feather detail on the chest too. I would lighten the eye a tad, agree with Juan regarding the noise. Well captured.

    Hi Gerrie:

I like this pic, the bird seems confident looking forward at you. Good BG and light and sharp feathers details. I wish to see your next shot.

    Bye,
