Pretty nice - good to see two together like this. If at all possible it would have been nice to move a bit to your right to clear the face of the BG bird more and to hide its tail behind the front bird. you could also opt to tone down the lightest part of the chest. All around a very appealing imge. Well done.

I love it, nice poses, BG, sharpness, light, colors and comp. I would suggest to tone down the whites of the chest.
    Congratulations.

This is a very beautiful shot with a nice placement of the second bird. Puffins for me are dream birds and wish to capture them in my camera some time in future.
Good Job. I agree with Ramon comments on tonning down the chest a bit.

Very nice! I like the complimenting pose of the bird in the background. I like the background and it's colors. I also agree with Axel that a slightly different angle that would have included the entire head of the background bird would have made this a stronger image.

I like the soft light, angle and BG. The OOF bird in the BG works for me. I might have gone to ISO 200 or 400 and might have stopped down more. The eye looks great, BTW.

I really like this image. Nice soft light, great background, and composition including the OOF bird.

Hi Rich, The exposure on the front Puffin looks goods to me on my monitor, and overall, the colours look good too. With regards to the second Puffin, I feel he should either be in perfect focus, or completely OOF. In this, he is inbetween, thus distracting to me. ( just a personal thing.)

Many thanks for your replies. The whites on the chest are looking fine on my monitor here.

    Cheers
