    Ken,
Superb image. Love the pose, spread out ears and the composition. I liked it a lot. This is perhaps one of your best elephant shots. Is the ground sloping? How come suddenly you have reverted back to your 1DIIn?

    Cheers,

Impressive sight! He looks very determined, good light and neat BG. A bit tight on right, almost clipping tail.

Looks like he is dancing to me. The horizon is tilted.

I use my MkIII for the 500 and MkII for my zoom which is very necessary for ellies.

Showing joy, I agree about the rotation.

I was going to title it "Dancing Elephant"

Ken, he looks like he's on a mini mock charge. I like the light, and colours in this, and agree with the rotation. How is the Hwange Park these days. ( Wankie in my day, as I come from the old Rhodesia.) I was last there in 1980, what a wonderful park.

No camera shake.....elephant behaviour well recorded , an impressive shot with true colour display -the elephant waltz will be a fitting name.
