    Desmond,

I like the simplicity of the composition with the green on green and the isolation of the one leaf with the depth of field. I would like to offer a few suggestions... the entire leaf looks sharp except for the very tip. Selective sharpening could help here. If it is within your ethics, the damage at the tip of the leaf can be repaired using PS with a method described here:

I applied my suggestions to the repost for you to consider if you so desire.

Nice repost, Richard, although both images work for me. I love that you put the top of the leaf in the URC and let it drape across the image, Desmond. I also like the deep jewel tones of the greens and you have great end-to-end detail except for the tip, as Richard mentioned. Nicely done!

Very nice composition, Desmond, I like Richards repost also. I like ethe use of DOF for the back leaves, although would like more sharpness at the tip of the leaf.

Thanks for the repost, Richard, and the link ! I was torn between fixing it or leave it as is. Decided to leave it as is thinking, well, just to be different from the norm :)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone !

Nice study in green. I like the position of the leaves, coming in at an angle from upper right. Nice detail. Your title makes the flaw in the leaf OK.
