    Not an original idea but inspired by an image by the English photographer, Stephen Dalton.
    Only one flash used to the side to simulate light coming through a garden-shed window.

    Canon EOS 5, Canon 100mm macro, One flash F16, Tripod.

    Such a cute little guy! The lighting is pretty dramatic and I like the way you have him peeking out of the pot.

    I know the side lighting is exactly what you were after, but I find myself trying to see the dark side still. I wonder what the effect of a reflector on the left would be to keep it darker, but give just a little light.

    Side light does give a special mood and I like it This is one of the things I have never tried !!! Very appealing Big Congrats !!!!

    If anything I would tone down the little guy just a tad !!!!
