Great image, that is formation flying at its best.

I don't use my 400mm f/5.6 much any more since I picked up the 300mm F4 but it is still in my opinion sharper than the 300mm.

very sharp and beautiful picture but I think a cleaner BG will work far more better for this! the light and the pose are very good ! you can use layer mask in photoshop to clean the BG ! thank you!

I like the light and similar wing positions. Too bad the bill of the one on the left overlaps with the wing. I agree that it needs a bit NR on the BG.

Thanks very much for the comments and suggestions. I have applied NR (blur) to the background. Hopefully this will look improved.
And Christopher, although I drool over having a 500 f4L, I have found the 400mm f5.6 to have very good resolution and for a beginner like me, a good place to start. I will need a note from Artie Morris to make a case to my wife to spend the big bucks for a 500 and for that matter might as well make a case for a IDsMark III while I'm at it. :).

How cool is that to have both wing positions the same!

I like the symmetry. It looks really grainy to me though - even with NR.
