“Raspberry Swirl”
This tropical lady was painted with a Nikon D300, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D IF-ED macro lens, and a 20mm extension tube.

Gus, I always find spirals in nature visually stimulating, and have often been drawn to their expression in flowers. I recently hijacked my wife's anniversary roses to do studies similar to this. The color palette here is very similar to your previous post, and I find the complementary colors pleasing. As much as flowers have been photographed by others, I still photograph them, and I'm glad you do too, because I like your presentation of them. Very nice!
