    Default European Golden Plover II

I'm beginning to love this forum!

Shot a few weeks ago, at Heiðmörk, Iceland...

    Nikon D300 + Sigma 50-500 on a beanbag...
    F/8 - ISO 250 - 1/500

    Cheers!

Very nice Johannes, I like all the browns and yellows, they blend very well. Tack sharp also. I might add a little room above and bellow the bird. Congrats.

I like the low angle, alert pose, details and BG. Another vote for a bit more room top and bottom. I could also see this as a vertical crop.

I'm glad you enjoy the forum and keep them coming, it's always great to see images made in Iceland! :)

Great image. Low angle makes this one. Just a bit of room at the top would help.

Stuning bird Jóhannes. More room for me around too! Otherwise fabulous BG, colors and pose. Thanks for sharing.

Nice bg and feather details are right on. As others said, a bit more room at the bottom might improve it.

Nicely done. The landscape and hint of little colorful flowers add a touch of whimsy.

This is a beautiful picture and well taken. I would sharpen the eye a bit and will also leave some more canvas at the top.
