what a great pose and background! and the bird looks sharp. can you make the legs stand out more from the perch?

Beautiful. I might try just a tad tighter top and bottom and get rid of the bit in the llh corner.

    Hi Diego,
This is a beautiful bird, I like the capture, but a few points to look at...the capture angle is a tad on the steep side, the focus point was not on the eye, it was on the bird's left inner wing. the colors are a bit washed out, lacking saturation and contrast, your bird is too centered in frame and the perch has a double element to the left. I modified your image by making the adjustments to enhance this little guy...I started by cropping from the top to eliminate some of the negative space, cropped from the right side of the frame to off center your subject and added canvas to the left side, I adjusted the saturation and contrast level, the black point and the mid-tones...I selective sharpened the eye area and portions of the claws...I cloned out the floating piece of branch on the left side, toned down the warm spots on the perch and ran a low level pass of noise reduction in the background...see if this presents best to you...looking forward to your next one...keep them coming...:)

You captured a great pose here, Diego. Totally agree with Gus's critique.

Agree with Gus comments. Wish the transition in the background didn't cut the neck and the bird's right leg (the one on top of the branch) didn't hide under the feathers. However I still like the pose, it looks like the bird ambitiously looking into the distance. The sticking out back feathers is a plus for me.

Agree with Gus's fine critique and the repost is good also - although a tad too much sharpening for my personal tastes.
Looking forward to seeing more :)

Nice shot Diego, like the tighter crop, and maybe a bit more sharpening than the original. The BG colours are beautiful.

    Hi:

Thank you everyone for your critics and suggestion, I really appreciate it. Gus you did a fantastic work on the improvement of my post, taking the time to teach me what to do with a unfinished image, thank you. I expect to have enough free time learn more about post-procesing.

    Bye
