Hi Asad, what a cool little bird.

I am not a technocrat like some of the members - yet! ;)

However, the HA police (head angle police!) would say that the bird's head is turned away from the sensor plane; it should be a few degrees towards you and this appears away from you.

The colors are lovely; perhaps the bird could use a bit of sharpening.

Have you considered ordering BAA I and II - you can't go wrong and you can learn so much.

Also, a lot of the critiques come right out of all of the threads on the Educational Resources Forum.

Given that you are in a port city (I Googled Bandar Abbas), does that explain the rolling green hills in your landscapes, and the fact that you have access to lovely birds?

I look forward to more of your images and hopefully to your teaching a little bit about yourself and your country.

    Keep 'em coming!!
    Cheers, Jay

I like the angle, pose, sharpness, raised crest and BG. The head angle has been mentioned and I'm wondering if the color temperature is a bit high.

Interesting species and I like the DOF on the ground. Nice and soft BG too. Tech wise I'd say take a tad off the top and go a bit wider by adding canvas to the right if you've got it.

Nice low angle, but I think going a little higher in this case (not much, just an inch or two may have been enough) would have been good to see the feet and more of the tail. Head angle already mentioned, and I agree. I love the raised crest, and you got a wonderful BG. I also like the rocky perch. I wouldn't take any off the top as the bird is looking slightly upwards, making the space there justified (plus the crest is already close enough to the edge). I like the colour of the eye. Keep them coming Asad!

I think that with just a tad better head angle this one would've worked nicely as pose, BG, detail, light and comp are VEERY nice.
    Congratulations.

This guy is very similar to our Rufousnaped Lark. I like the raised crest, sharp, and lovely colours in the BG.

Very nice bird. Thanks for sharing it here. As mentioned by Jay, the head angle is not ideal but that would be it for me. Love the background and crest.
