I have had another external hard drive crash, and although I have back up I am intrigued with Cloud storage. eg Mozyhome and Carbonite. I have two questions for anyone using this modality. 1. Can you use the stoage site as a virtual hard drive and have fast access to your images? 2. Which site do you use or prefer.

I think it will be good as a redundant storage but not like a local hard drive. I hope someone will mention the service again (can't remember name) which was only for PC (I'm Mac) but seemed reasonable. The back up was done in the background at times you were not working. Price wise seemed good.
For home would suggest to look into a Drobo Have one set up and so far so good. On their website there are a couple of videos on how to use.
I'm really liking the Drobo too! They've got a good price going right now, especially if you buy from Amazon. I also bought 4 1TB OEM drives from Amazon for the Drobo.
