    Default Fledgling Piping Plover

12 fledglings at the local spot - for Piping Plovers that is a great year!

I like the setting, dark sand, BG and light
I would like a bit more eye contact.

Hi Bob I like the low angle Would like a little more room on the sides and take some from the bottom

These tight images are tough to focus on.. place to focus. Would try placing the af point right on the eye !! btw sure like the exposure Whites look good !!!

    Hi Bob,
I like the low angle a lot - agree with Al about more room at the sides and some off the bottom.
    Best,

Agreed on those points- thanks. Low angle due to being on my knees in the water - downhill a bit from the feed zone!! Bob

Good points from above. I would also run another pass of USM on the bird.

Techs aside, I really like the pose. I find it refreshing and different. Lack of direct eye contact doesn't bother me. I think it is a lovely image.
