An Egyptian goose coming into land. I liked the angle in this, and his wing tips were very close to the water. As I couldnt get all the reflection, I removed it. Taken last weekend in Pretoria.

Wonderful wing position and eye contact. I might sharpen the head just a bit. I wish the left wing was not so dark at the end. Overall great job.

Perfect diagonal, enhanced by the sweet BG. Great EXP and underwing detail. Could use some more sharpening.

Great pose, light, diagonal, detail, colors and comp, I am not crazy though about the upper BG.
    Congratulations.

Nice capture Stu. Sharpness looks ok to me???? I might darken the whole scene a tad.

Lovely pose, light, and exposure. The left wing is not dark at the end. I might tone down the section of BG above the bird just a tad though. My eye kept going back to that area.

    Well done!

Thanks a stack for the suggestions guys and Fabs. Here is my repost. Blended in the BG - ULC, and darkened the BG too. Any better?

The diagonal and angle of flight works very well Stu. The golden water color is really appealing. I prefer the slightly darker BG of your repost, but either one would do.

Better in repost Stu. I like the pose and beautiful water. Echo Ramon's comment about BG up top. Is that some building? Well done mate nevertheless. :)

Thank you all so much for the comments.

Kobus, I just checked the RAW file - the BG is pretty similar to this post, but I know what you mean.
