    Here's another of the abstract images I made over the 4th of July weekend. Again, it's daylily stamen with the use of a macro lens and all three extension tubes.

    Canon 40D, EF 100mm f/2.8 macro, 12mm, 20mm & 32mm tubes
    f10 @ 1/50th, ISO 400
    Manual mode, pattern metering, handheld, pre-dusk light

    I like the comp and the curve of the orange stamens against the OOF yellow background, Jules. Nicely done for hand holding. The one stamen in the rear seems to be the odd man out as its curve crosses some of the others. I think the image would be stronger with that stamen removed, but that's just my opinion. :)

    Beautiful. Gorgeous light and colors. I like the composition. The stamen in back doesn't bother me.
