I haven't posted on this site for some time, but would like to share this image taken the other evening. I visited the nest site several times without seeing the chicks. But on this particular evening, they were active and hungry. Comments appreciated.

Nice to see a nest in a natural cavity instead of a dedicated bluebird nestbox! Good feeding behaviour too, I like the young one's outstretched pose. The image could stand a bit more sharpening for web presentation, and I find the subjects just a bit low in the frame. I also wish for a better view of the adult's face. Thanks for sharing this neat scene!

I like the natural nesting hole, interaction and BG. Another vote for more sharpening and seeing the parent's face would have made it even stronger.

Roger, Nice interaction captured and the natural nest is great! Agree w/ a bit more sharpening . I just love feeding images!! Looking forward to more.

Hi Rober, I agree with all above and the tree is a beautiful backdrop.

Thanks to all for the helpful comments. I was a bit disappointed in the sharpness, since its been very good in different posts. I also prefer the natural nest cavity as opposed to the box.
