Default Swallow Tail Kite and snake

At first I thought it was a blade of grass but it turned out to be a green tree snake.

Nice natural moment, nice exppsure and species.
Light is too harsh IMO and comp would improve if you crop from left and top.
    Congratulations.

I'm always amazed at what these guys manage to pluck from those tree tops! The snake is a nice bonus and I'm glad the kite had the correct angle to at least light up the it's head.

You did a great job capturing the action even if the light is a bit harsh. The bird's head has nice light and a great HA. I agree with Ramon on a crop top and left to give the subject more prominence in the frame.

Are these guys still over at 84 & Hiatus @ Rexmere Villages? I thought they may have flown the coop by now

    Thanks for sharing, Marina

In spite of the harsh light I like the overall image. You can even see the snakes tongue. Tough bird to capture even under the best of circumstances.
