    Default Savannah Sparrow

I went birding yesterday with my friend Manuel Grosselet, who is one of the best ornithologists in Mexico. I am learning a lot from him, like the fact that this is a subspecies called Brunnescens. Thanks for looking.

Perfect pose Lorant, sharp, with good detail. I would maybe lighten the eye a bit. Is that a dried dung perch?

I like the angle, pose, eye contact and BG. I might increase saturation and contrast a few points, and tone down the highlights on the perch. I'm wondering, too, if it is dung.

Super pose! Sounds like you have a great "field guide"

I like the pose, perhaps needs a tad more contrast.

Very nice bird, nice BG, detail and expposure altohugh you might consider to tone down the perch.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I am laughing out loud...I think it is dried dung. At least it is natural, right?

Dung is tasty, Dung is nutritive, Dung is delicious... A billion flies can`t be wrong!

A nice setting, I like the BG
Like Axel said, a bit more saturation and contrast might look better.

Excellent comp and nice setting. I would lighten it a touch, just appears dark. Thanks for sharing Lóránt
