The image taken on Helgoland, North Sea, Germany while I was on a photography trip with Jan. The light came from bad direction but I tried to do my best to save a few frames of this displaying moment.
I know I will hear critics on this image but maybe a worth to share by its behavior not often seen on the forum.

By the way, this is my 1000th post. Should I have been select a better image for this milestone? :D ;)
Congratulations on the milestone! Great to have male and female in the frame and I particularly like the pose of the male. I might crop a bit off top and bottom.
Looks pretty good to me Szimi! Love the pose of the male, and I like that you got them both in focus. You might have considered pushing your ISO a bit higher in order to stop down and get the detail in the female's plumage slightly sharper. Congrats on your 1000th post too!
Dark upper bg coming from a wave breaker. I try for a tighter crop however that just represented my personal taste to have some air around as it is useful while having sex :D :)
Szimi, Congrats on the 1000th post!!! I like the pose on the male also and the 2 together in the frame is great. I think you handled the lighting very well-Nicely done!!
Good one, congratulations on your 1000th. Very nice pose and eye contact.
I would put some more space on the right.
Agree, space is always welcome in these situations;)
A fene vigye, hát már igazán jó, hogy ezret nyomtál öregem. :D
Congratulations Szimi, what a fabulous way to celebrate this excellent milestone. :) I am not fussed about more space. On that note I will stop typing before I get in trouble. :D
Congrats on the milestone Gyorgy! Love the poses, the water color and especially the male plumage. I would suggest to do some work on the BG. You could take some of the top as Axel suggested. I would suggest to try using the clone stamp on color instead of normal and then clone some of the blueish colors from the water over the green areas. Or use the brush on 50% on a background copy and then sample some of the blue colors with the eyedropper tool. A great shot nonetheless!
One of my favourite duck species. Unfortunately on my recent trip north all the drakes had already gone into eclipse plumage. You have done a great job on the exposure of the male which are tough and sharpness looks very good as well. The low angle and pose of the birds adds to the photo considerably. I think you just scraped through on the depth of field for the female, although some softening along her back can be seen.
Indeed the female is not in complete focus. Anyway I am satisfied as the main attraction was the courtship of the drake.
Timing is everything used to say... I guess March-May is the best for them.
Congratulations on your 1000 posts! I like the scene, light, species, detail, colors and stunning exposure, I would suggest croping from the bottom to improve comp.
Congratulations!
Super courtship display image Szimi. You selected a very good image to celebrate your 1000th post and I do not mind about the light angle because this one is really good.
