Terrific natural moment, nice light although fill flash might've helped bringing up some more detail in the darker areas that actually look like you use some brush or something? (Do correct me if I am wrong please).
I wish the flower was less bussy, know what I mean? Sorry, my english is limited :o
Congratulations though on a very nice image.

This looks like a stunning bird, and you got some nice feeding behaviour. I wish the BG flower was not there as it makes an already busy image much busier. Fill may have helped open up the darks on the bird. Thanks for sharing this beauty :-)

While the image is quite busy by the bg flower I still love it. The sharpness and colors are gorgeous.
Nice to remember my time in South Africa :)

Wonderful moment Dave. your capture is priceless. Agree with Ramon about some flash fill perhaps. Nice eye contact. Thanks for sharing,

Good-looking bird and I like the captured behavior. The lower part of the bird looks as if it is in the shade. Maybe you can lighten that area.

Excellent exposure on the sunbird Dave, sharp, and would liked to have seen more beak. I dont mind the busy aloe. This is another species I need to get.

Interesting feeding behviour and very sharp, also like the iridescence. Could be paired with a shot showing bird perched with beak out of flower if you have one.

I like the natural feel to this scene Dave although I agree on the back aloe.
