Beautiful light and wing position. Seems just a bit soft. Pehaps a faster SS ????

    Leo:

Lovely light and wing position, head position. I agree with Joe, it is just a bit soft. How big of crop was this. I would think that your shutter speed would have been OK for a bird this size, but some folks push for higher when conditions allow. I suspect you didn't want to crank up your ISO anymore, however.

I am just starting to see some jagged edges along the leading wing, esp. the lower, so I don't think you could push the sharpening much more.

Very nice bird and nice capture, very nice HA and flight pose.
I'd try the suggestions above and sharpen just a bit.

    Hi Leo,
Maybe sharpen it a little more? I love these guys and you captured a fabulous banking move. I might have to go to Bushells Lagoon later today to see if I can get one. :D

Full wingspread at its best. Well exposed on the underwing, and I would run another round of USM on this guy.

Love the flight angle, but ditto a bit soft.
If you sharpen more just watch the halo, it is already starting to show.

Great flight shot. Wonderful light and great wing pose.
