Two sisters in action. The front one never raised her face. I have no idea whether she was watching her reflection :D or whether she was just looking for a frog.

This image was created in Bandhavgarh National Park, India.
Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 1.4xII ie. at 800mm, ISO 200, f8, 1/1250 sec, full frame.

Look forward to your comments and critiques.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Super capture. Love the difference in attention these Tigers are showing. Good to see them in the open and so relaxed.

Great shot. I like the fact that there are two cats in the image. Great sharpness.

Very nice natural image. The largish DOF works well to show the environment. Makes me feel like I am there with you. Too bad about the head being down on the FG tiger. However, this does add to the natural - non posed - feel of the image.

Looks great Sabyasachi. I admire their camouflage very much and this environmental capture shows perfectly. Thanks for sharing. :)

Very cool image. Maybe just a tad more contrast?

Beautiful capture, Sabyasachi, I like the fact that you got two and they are doing their own thing :)

I like the composition here, Sabyasachi. As others have said, I really like the two of them moving naturally in their habitat.

    Dear All,
Thanks for your comments. They were there for about an hour and comfortably did their own job. They finished off a kill, came into water and one of them tried to stalk a deer as well.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

I like the out of frame interest of the subjects actually here, very natural setting, the DOF looks good too considering your focal length. Keep them coming..

    Morkel,
Tigers are great swimmers. They love water and need to cool off. The complete opposite are the leopards.

Kiran: Depth of field is also dependent on the distance. I was happy that f8 covered them nicely.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
