    Default Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed Sparrow 2

I went back to Belle Island today, had better light and got closer to the birds.
I know that many will find the BG too busy and the OOF grass distracting,
with these guys in the grass it is either steep angle or OOF grass in front.
    Comments appreciated.

Interesting bird. If that where they live, you got to get them there.
Making the greens darker would help handling the busy BG IMO.

This one works much better. I like the composition, eye contact and actually like the patterns of the grass. I like Fabs' idea of desaturating the greens a few points.

Nice alert pose. A well composed bird in habitat shot.

Thanks Axel, I tried to keep the grass pattern diaginal.
I actually had real trouble getting the jpeg saturated. When I previewed the jpeg in the browser (Firefox)
I got very desat image, color space set to sRGB, still no good. Had to go back to tiff in PS several times
and saturate to get the orange in jpeg in browser to be the same as in PS tiff. Any ideas why?

What a great bird! I've had no luck seeing these (yet :))

The habitat is where it's at! With persistence, you'll get one less cluttered.

Don't you just love them:). You should hear the song, it is unreal.
I actually have some less cluttered, will try to post later.

    Thanks for the comment!

I like the alert pose and inclusion of habitat.
