    Default Yet another Ovenbird.

It's pretty exciting when a species offers you tons of photo ops after having eluded you for a long while - hence the multiple Ovenbird photos recently!:D This one is a little larger in the frame than I normally prefer, but I still like it tons. I also like the OOF evergreen branch, it shows a hint of breeding habitat this species can be found in.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @350mm, aperture priority, evaluative metering, 1/125s., f/6.3, ISO 640, -0.3 EC, handheld, audio + blind used.

I can't decide which one is better, I think I'll go with this one.
The black in the BG is really in great contrast with the white bird.
I also like the crisp eye a lot here. I wish you had eye contact but this
    is great too.

Hi Dan, great pose. Is he perching on a fallen tree? This is really sharp, well exposed on the chest, and like the detail on him. Good job on the eye. ;) I like how the darker BG blends to a lighter green.

A very nice one, super sharp. beautiful bird, would be nice to see a bit more of its side.
1/125 handheld is very impressive, but why handheld in a hide?
