Beautiful butterfly, but a very busy BG.What are my options here? What should I do?How can I save this photo?....
Go out and take other photo of this guy....Hmm...That would be the best option, but unfortunately this guys were only around these thistle "bushes"...I have tried for two hours to frame one on a less busy BG, but no luck there...
All suggestions are much appreciated!!!

Agree with Peter there isn't much wrong with the image
At the time of making the image would have made some with a wider aperture to blur the bg, here you can selectively blur the bg to simulate the wide f stop then darken the corners a little for drawing attention to the butterfly !!! btw about the only thing that I wish it was not there is the white flower, sort of grabs attention but as presented one fine image Big Congrats !!!
Als repost rocks - nothing wrong with this - only the Aperture as mentioned by AL - like the colours and the 3d feel to this.
The white flower in the Bg is a bit of a distraction - but stil a fine iamge :)
Hi Adrian,
I like the base composition and capture, I like the framing of your butterfly in frame, the color rendition and fine details are superb...I like Mr. Forns repost, it takes this to the next level...congrats...looking forward to your next one...
Thank you very much, to all!
So, there is no need of cropping, and the thistle in the LRC is ok for balancing the image. I was convinced that it would be better to clone it out...I will try to edit, as you suggested, and I will re-post the photo...
