I like this.. It shows the harsh conditions and the determined look on his face is great.I do like Peter's idea of removing the snow in lrc. I would love to travel there in the winter. Thanks for sharing. John

Fabs, What a terrific image!! I love the large snowflakes and the feeling of isolation. Beautiful details and eye contact, I like Peter's re-post.

Peter, thank for taking the time to repost.
Snow mound was natural and I saw no need to remove. I try not to change elements unless absolutely necessary.

    Thanks, guys!

Great scene. I like the composition, the heavy snow and the fox looking at the camera.

Congrats Fabs, the comp and exposure are perfect. I don't mind the mound and would do the same, leave it as is. though always nice to hear/see others' suggestions. I love the feeling of cold, and it helps me not as we are in the middle of our winter and my house is freezing. :(

    Fabs,
I am loving your environmental images. I think due to the snow mound the original helps it anchor to the lower right power point. It works without the snow mound as well. However, I don't clone and would go with the original.

    Cheers,

First thought when I saw this was so COOL, but too bad about the snow mount. The pose of the fox and the snow are awesome! I do prefer Peters repost but would probably also take some of the bottom there turn it into a pano. Gorgeous shot!

The mound of snow at the right side distract a lot IMO but I see your point (and I agree with you) that it is too much removing. The mood is just outstanding and I love the composition and the stare of the fox. :)

Wonderful shot, think the eyes say it all. Like Peter's repost - although I tend to avoid altering much I think the repost makes it even more stunning.

Very beautiful shot full of feeling Fabiola! Now let's see---where's my winter coat? In this shot I think it's necessary to remove. The fox by the way sure looks healthy. I would hang this on my wall in a minute!--in a second!
