    Default Long Tailed Duck Landing

I was fortunate to capture the initial phase of the landing of this male long tailed duck last weekend. It was an overcast day with patches of blue sky.

Shot handheld with the 500 f4 on a bushhawk.

    Thanks for looking. :)

The pose and shape of the tail are very cool. I might try to tone down the whites on the head a tiny bit. It doesn't look overexposed but maybe you could get out more details.

Lovely, Bill. Pose is stunning. Maybe a little selective tone adjustment and sharpening on the eye would improve an already great image.

This is one very nice image, its sharp and I like the tail feathers trailing in back.

Awesome image Bill! I would use a Selective Color Layer, choose the White slider, slide the Black slider under the White color to the right to tone the whites down a bit. (hope this makes sense. :D)
