    Gal:

Sharp bird, well exposed, good low shooting angle. I wish the light angle had been just a bit more behind you, to cut down on the shadows some.

I might consider a crop up from the bottom, approx 1/2 of the OOF brown foreground.

Because the image is dominated by tans/browns, the plants really jump out and pull the attention. I think they should stay, provided some counterpoint to the browns, but I might tone them down just a bit. They tend to really draw my eye from the bird, esp. the clump under the tail.

    Thanks for sharing.

I agree 100% with Randy's suggestion. Fill flash could've been an option IMO.
Lovely pose and detail, BG, coloors and sharpness are great. Congratulations!

Super low angle Gal. This is pin sharp, and light shows up the detail nicely. I would maybe lighten the eye.

Great low angle and pose. Also like the shared tones of bird and background.

Everyone has pretty much covered all the bases.I especially like the pink feathers on the wing. Excellent.

Very nice perspective you got here. Lovely warm tones too. Excellent IQ. I like the vegetation as is, and the small lone one at right provides nice counter-balance to the image. The OOF FG bugs me though, I would crop it almost completely out. You could also eliminate the small light rock in front of the subject. Thanks for sharing this little beauty!

Lovely complementary colors. The face of bird is a bit dark. I know it is dark anyway but still a bit dark.
The waterhole could be very productive. :)
