    Another one of my fast flying feathered friends. Taken yesterday, at a local birding spot in Pretoria.

    I like the wing position, sharpness and eye contrast and wish the bird were flying towards you. The color temperature looks a little warm considering the high shutter speed.

    Very nice Stuart, You did very well in capturing this quick little guys in flight. I agree with Axel's comments above.

    Nice shot Stuart! Details are great and don't mind the side on approach. Like the added warmth too.

    The fast shutter speed has helped with the sharp wing capture Stu.
    Good to get the wings fully up. I like the flight angle.

    Excellent pose, perfect light, detail is great, colors could be a tad more saturated IMO. Lovely comp and powerfull overall image.

    Hi Stuart

    We have a flock of pigons down on the local shore and I sometimes go down and use them for flight shot practice. Captured in good light and some lovely detail in that underwing. A good sharp flight photograph. I prefer front on or at an angle photos for birds in flight where possible as I just think they are more interesting especially if the bird is coming in to land.
