    Hi,

I like the way the bird is desesperatly begging for food and the way the mouth color matches the OOF background.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark II, EF 600 f/11 1/125, ISO 400.

Good light, sharpness, BG and the open beak adds to it. I only wish the eye were more open and might removing the OOF leaves on the left but that is a personal preference. I could also see this as a vertical crop.

Pretty cool moment captured. The oof leaves on the left are a distraction though. Having said that, the light and bg are exquisite. Nice shot!

The wide open beak makes this image, and more of the eye would have made this even better. I agree a vertical crop would work too.

Very cool, that's a big mouth! Agree that more eye would improve it, but still very nice.

love how you can see the tiny veins inside the mouth. great image for me as is, since it conveys a great moment/story. I would clone out the two leaves hanging down to unclutter the image.

Everything said here, but still I want to congratulate!
I think I would crop a very little bit from the bottom, if presented as a horizontal image, to "gain" a bit more room on top. For me it feels a bit tight above the birds head.

This is adorable! I know we all wish for the eye to be open, but this is what they do when they beg!

Jorge, Very beautiful image here. The little veins in the mouth. Excelent exposure. I too wish the eye was showing more but I do the same thing when I'm hungry.

OK, I'll be the odd one out here, but I LOVE the eye!! It is not completely closed anyhow. It pushes the already great expression that much higher IMO :-) I don't mind the thinner of the two leaves, but I would certainly get rid of the thicker one. A very entertaining image!!

Gorgeous image with a lots of detail. Action is a real plus.
Not sure about the big reed leaf on the left as my eyes jump on it soon.
    I still like it.
