This is one of eight steamers that are used to carry tourists through the mountains and along the river between Durango and Silverton, Colorado. Seen here pulling in to Silverton.

Gus, that's exactly what this is like! The old mining towns and railroads and cowboys really make you feel like you stepped back in time...

Super comp Kerry, and like the IQ in this. Great detail, light, and would love to stand next to this iron horse. Great image.

HOLY CR@P! This is an INCREDIBLE image Kerry! Thanks so much!!! Is that narrow gauge? I am guessing yes. That is one beautiful steam locomotive.

Hey Kerry, just watched a program on tv " great scenic railway journeys" and this train was featured on one of them. Apparently, this train was also used in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid. Also saw other engines- Numbers, 480 & 486. Did you have a ride on the train?

Hi Stuart, we didn't get a chance to make that train ride, but it's definitely on the list for next time! It goes through some amazing scenery.
