From today. What I wouldn't have given for some nice billowy clouds but no, I get solid blue sky. I wouldn't even had shot but I was there so what the heck.
IR-converted Rebel XT, Canon 24-70 2.8 lens, handheld. (Michael, I have only used the 50 1.8 and the 24-70 with this camera to date and I haven't really noticed any dramatic difference due to the camera being calibrated to the 50 1.8. Can you see any?)
Lovely image, Ed. I also think the gradient sky is the next best thing to fluffy white clouds. Nicely done with lots of interesting shades of black to white.
Only suggestion I have is the small area right next to the door of the lighthouse - that little area directly below the tree limb to the right of the door feels "hot" compared to the rest of the tower. Any way to add some stone detail back into that little section?
Everything else is really working here...you're really coming into your own with this IR work!
