Catching a minow sized morsel on the fly. This is typical of the tecnique. The feet and bill go in the drink but the bird powers out and up after catch.

Hi David. You have a good angle of light on the egret and good timing with the snagged fish. To me, the duckweed appears over-sharpened bringing too much attention to it. Perhaps it would be best to sharpen only the bird. Nice job overall. Thanks for sharing.

I am not crazy about the BG and angle, but the timing, pose, light, exposure and colors are excellent IMO.
