Another in-camera blur taken earlier this morning... settings were -

    40D, Sigma 50-500mm @ 500mm, hand held
1/25 sec, f/29 Mode: Tv Metering: Evaluative Exp comp: -1 ISO: 100

Cropped, cleaned-up and darkened bg. C&C will be appreciated.

Indranil, After attempting these w/ my 500 and coming away with none!! I would say -Excellent!!! Might tone down a couple of bright spots just a bit. Nicely placed in the frame and the motion is clearly implied!!

I would reduce the lightness of the LRC, but framing is great. I feel you achieved the movement very well with this image. :) Thanks for sharing. I will work on tele blurs this coming week for future themes.

Great contrast between the bird and BG Indranil. Might even like to see more BG around it if you have it!

Hi Indranil, These aren't the easiest to pull off. Unlike the flower or plant abstracts/motion blurs.....I feel you need the face sharp (kind of like Dave's post below yours). Remember.....just my preference. You need a really good/steady pan to achieve that, in camera, with the slow SS's. Alfred and Fabs are masters at this......hope they chime in.

Indranil, I love the composition and the motion. The bg colors are really nice also.:)
