Beautiful handling of sidelight!!! This could go vertical with little more room on bottom and right. Less on left. Wonferful details and killer BG!!! Congrats!

I like the exposure and color a lot. The BG is super and the in your face stare is only made better by the raised leg. Could the left eye (on the image's right) be lightened a little? A bit more canvas on the right may make this image even better. David's suggestion of vertical is also a good one.

Excellent, good details in eyes, feathers and talons. I also like sweet light, colors and the pose.

I like the pose, sharpness, eye contact and complementing BG. I might lighten the bird's left eye and give it a tad more room. Keep them coming!

Have to agree with the other the background is very nice. The pose is pleasing. The out stretched leg with the talons extended make this special to me. Axel covered my comment on the left eye. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing detail for such a crop! I might leave a little more room on the right side to pull the eyes left of center, or maybe just take a little off the left side.... gorgeous image!

The BG is just outstanding! Lovely pose, excellent light, nice perch, comp and colors and detail. A tad more room at the bottom and to the right might improve and already stunning image! COngratulations!

    What a powerful talon!

Love everything about this one. I just suggest to lighten the left eye a tad. Is that the name of this species?

A touch of levels adjustment in the left eye is the only thing I would to improve this fantastic image. The timing is great and composition is nailed. Very good eye contact, BG and sharpness. Congratulations for a fine image !

I love the bird, the eye contact, the golden background and soft light, the details. I agree that a little more room is needed around the bird, but like it's general position in the frame. The one-foot stance and exposed talon are fabulous.

    Cheers!

Super pose, especially showing the dangling leg. Great eye contact, and love the warm colours in this. A little more room on the right would work. Great capture Gal.

For me, I don't think there's much to improve on this image. There's only one but it's been mentioned. I really like this image, from its colors to its background to its contents.
