    “Spring Affair”

    This lovely lady was painted with a Nikon D300, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D IF-ED macro lens with a stacked combination of a 20mm and 12mm extension tubes.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/125sec. - f/22 / exposure comp @ -0.7EV / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ custom profile, using an Expo disk for color calibration / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution – a 24” soft box placed at a 60 degree angle. / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - tripod assist, with macro focusing rail, and remote electronic trigger release /

    I absolutely love this type of image. Your angle, the sharpness, and the colors just suck you into the flower (photo). Thanks again for the techs, I can't wait to try some of this stuff and I will try to follow your lead.

    Really like the close up view and the little splashes of yellow on the pink petals.

    very dynamic graphically......might benefit with a bit cropped off right so
    white exits the side rather than the corner.

    Your flower closeups have generally been super and a pleasure to view
