    Hi Chris,

Gorgeous take off pose, love the BG with the clouds and love the perch/take off point. Love the outstreched wings! To my eye there is something weird going on with the colours though......I can't be sure because I was not there but the sky looks a little too cyan coloured for such a nice light on the bird. I can't really put my finger on it, maybe a little less saturation??????? Otherwise an excellent shot.

I could be wrong, but the sky colour looks very typical to me, I dont see a problem with it.
I like the comp and pose a lot. Nice capture Chris.

Looks good to me Chris. Just a small dust bunny to eliminate between the talons and the tree. The clouds look great in the BG.

Stunning Capture Chris! Love everything about it - vivid colours, pose, light and timing really great.
Blue sky looks very characteristic of Kgalagadi! Inclusion of the white clouds in the sky works very well. Super composition.

awesome capture. Perfect wing pose and incredible colors.
Did you increase the saturation of the plumage or is this bird really that red (probably juvenile)?

    Chris:

I like the composition, flared primaries, HA, sharpness. For me, the lighting worked a bit better on the previous image(better underwing lighting), but still, very nice here.

    Cheers

Great pose on that bird. Diagonal wingspan
and one mean look. Nice golden color.
Sky looks good to me, but this could be an issue
    of monitor calibration.
What are you guys using to calibrate your monitors?
Is there a prefered software to calibrate?
    Adobe discontinued it in CS3.

I've never seen this animal in real life, nor have I been in Africa so I can't judge the colors. All I can say is that I love the power that you were able to show through this photograph. A very powerful bird in a strong pose and the look on the face really adds to that.

I like the angle of take off Chris, and love the warm colours shown on the eagle. The inclusion of clouds adds to the image, and I would take this anyday. However, I prefered your previous post.
