Glen, beautiful image. I love how the bird is "framed" by the foliage. Very sharp and great BG. Congrats.

    Glenn,
    outstanding image. Well balanced composition.
Have you tried removing the OOF branch at the top right?

Hi Glenn, Gorgeous image as per usual! Nice comp in the inverted V in the branches, great details, and pose. I would be tempted to go a wee bit brighter.

    Cheers!

Nice photo with the bird's pose, sharpness; BG, perch. You could experiment with cloning out one or two branches, but I like it as it is. Congratulations.

Ther is no way I would clone out either branch....I feel like that is what makes the image special and more than just a boring bird on a stick shot... But thats just my 2c

I would not clone out any of the top branches either...they are important and well placed framing elements in the composition. If I had any wish it would be for the bill to be open wider, but man this is sweet :-)

uhhh yeah, I wouldn't clone anything out of this image. You have a beauty here. These Tamaracks make great trees for photographing birds on. Big congrats on a cool bird!

    Hi Glenn,
Perfect framing in my opinion! Love the placement of the twigs! The pose and headturn are great as well. I am not too sure about the contrast, the shot looks a bit flat. Maybe increasing the midtone contrast or saturation a bit would help???? Anyway excellent shot!
