    Default Mourning Dove who had misery last winter

    Hello everyone,

    another picture i take last weekend of this Mourning Dove and you can see the end of his legs was hurt by the cold of the last winter. Thanks for your comments!Thanks for your comments!

    You have to feel bad for the harsh conditions these guys go through. You did a great job with the exposure here. Love the moss on the perch. Maybe a little more room up top.

    I see many Mourning Doves with at least one toe missing the claw. Man, these guys go through heck walking on the snowy ground all winter long. Nice photo, but I find the comp a little tight top AND bottom (for the virtual tail tip).

    Ah quite disturbing with the feet. Nice capture though.
    Agree with Daniel about the crop. Very nice perch,
    I really like the colors on the bird.

    I realy like the perch and the colors here.
    On my monitor it is a bit soft,
    Plus, I would give more room at the bottom for the end of the tail, although we can't see it.

    Shame, hard on the birds during the winters. Like the colours here. Agree on the composition as Daniel stated. Super BG! Well done!
