Nice comp. They do look like they're lazily playing. Surrounding grasses look good in both color and texture. Maybe a touch more sharpening on the bears.

    Steve,
I added couple of more passes of USM and artifacts started showing up.
USM at 25% 0.5 radius and 1 threshold

    Sid,
I can see the artifacts in your repost. After looking at your original again and putting in a couple of eyedrops, I think I'd just like to see a tiny bit of contrast on the lighter bear's eye. I think the soft fur and my tired eyes tricked me into thinking it was a little soft. My apologies.

This is fantastic, I may like to tone down grass colors, But all in all great shot

    Hey Sid,
Love the snout to snout playfight. Super setting too! Repost is sharper. Looks like you had a great time! Very well done.

A very appealing interaction captured, Sid. I too thought the original was a little soft and I prefer the repost. Nice light, colors, and DOF. Well done.

I agree more sharpening was needed. Great comp with well defined sides of the face on both and capture of the interaction.

I like the sharpened image. Also love the interaction between the cubs and the low angle.
