    Default Common Tern

Went out for some photos this afternoon but within five minutes of getting to the shore it started poring. This is the better one out of maybe ten pics I was able to take. I cloned out a tag ring on his left leg and this is about 85% of the full frame. Thanks for looking. All C/C appreciated.

Good pose with a nice sharp beak. I wish I could see the eye better. Can you lighten it?

Thanks for the comment Ed. This is as much as I could lighten the eye. I tried but it just did not look natural.

THe lack of "eye" is a bit of a letdown. But the pose is great!

Brian, To me, the light (or lack of it!) just makes this totally difficult to get across as everything looks dull. I see you're in MA, I'm on LI and we've had similar challenges with weather of late. Good news, I bet you can go back for more when you have some sun.
