Default Front pack for camera gear?

I'll be hiking (day trips) in the Rockies later this summer and I'll be carrying my infant son on my back. I found this front pack that attaches to your backpack (or infant carrier in my case). Has anyone ever tried one of these? If not, does anyone have any other ideas. I'll be carrying a 50D, 17-55, 100-400, and a few small accessories. Tripod will be attached to infant carrier.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks.

    Eric,
I just use a couple of carabiners and attach a small camera bag to the straps on my backpack.

Hi, you might want to consider the Lowepro Orion AW: http://products.lowepro.com/product/Orion-AW,1987,7.htm

The waist pack detaches from the backpack, carry it in front, it opens away from you, and you can easily carry the 50D with the 100-400 attached and all of the other gear and baby bottles ;) .
    Cheers, Jay

Thanks for the advice guys. I just ordered the syncpack today so I'll let you know how it worked out when I return from Colorado.
