Hello everybody! This is my first post even though i have been reading this forum almost daily since i joined:)
Eurasian Curlew is my favorit shorebird and fortunately i got some oportunity to take a few photos of these birds this spring in Sweden.

Hi Attila,
A big warm welcome to our BPN family...I like your image and capture very much...your subject has fine sharp feather details, and the color rendition is very good, I like the out of focus background with it's pale soft earth tones, which compliments your bird quite well. A few points to consider...I would suggest on off centering your bird a little to the right side of the frame by cropping 1/4 from that side and adding some canvas to the left side of the frame in the direction that he is looking into. The head angle is a tad off, it needs about a .25 degrees counter clock wise rotation...you do have a clean sharp eye...and I like the low capture angle...well...enough said...:) Again I welcome you to the family...looking forward to seeing more of your captures...good show...
Thank you for the welcome! I am the happy to be a member of this big community.
Gus. Thank you for your suggestions. I agree with the rotation . During postprocessing i crop the original image and in fact i tried to avoid centering the bird. After you mentioned i saw it needs some more cut on the right side. What do you think of the new version?
Very nice capture indeed Attila , good and sharp with plenty of detail , love the soft colors of the BG. What really puts this one over for me is the captured walking of the bird instead of the traditional still like pose :)
I like your repost very much, the extra trim taken off the side tightened the composition nicely. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to more nice pictures from Sweden. :)
Another big warm welcome to the BPN Family - lovely first post - Agree with Gus's fine critique. Like the raised foot pose and the BG compliments the bird well. The low shooting angle is really good - well done!!
Looking forward to seeing more :)
Good to see you here Sepi :) Welcome :)
Nice bird, nice image. I like the colors and the low perspective. My eyes are always jumping on the curved oof grass element behind the bird's neck. Otherwise a cool shot.
