    Default Assignment: Last Light

My wife, Carol, at a secluded and wonderful beach near Bandon, Oregon. The sun is about to set over the ocean and the light is very special.

Taken a couple of years ago with a Canon p&s, the S2 IS. Techs sound funny, but here they are:

    Lens 6-72mm @ 19mm, f/4@1/800, EC -2/3

I like the lighting, the warm colors of day's end, and the way you composed this image as a pano. "Rule" of thirds works well here. Very nice job, Kerry.

Love the pano and the silhouette is awesome. How much did the model cost you and did you get a release?

Very good image, love the lighting, the little orange glow at the horizon, the dark clouds at the top fit the silhouettes nicely. I feel like the horizon at the right is a bit higher than the left, maybe it's just me.

Pretty image, Kerry! We have a relative who lives in Bandon, so we've been there a few times. Oregon also has spectacular rocky coastlines . . . .

Hi Kerry - composition is very nice - the dark area at the top and bottom nicely framing the bright area in the middle - really draws your attention the the band in the middle. Like it a lot.
    Congrats :)
