    Default Hibiscus in Sunlight

I liked the way this hibiscus flower was lit partially by the afternoon sun. Appreciate your critique.

Welcome Ramesh! Very nice image here. I think you did an excellent job on the flower in this case. I know how easy it is to get hot spots with sun streaming in over a bloom. f11 seems to be about the perfect exposure - you got excellent details in the main point of interest and then it gradually falls away into the darkness. Nice colors - not oversaturated that I can tell.

Thanks, Jules for your kind welcome and positive comments on my image. I visited your website. I was amazed at the rich colors of the photographs there. Specifically, i liked the plants section: they are so difficult to compose. My kudos to you!

I like the spotlight effect and the placement of the flower in the frame, well done.
