Taken at 6:49 AM on a beautiful winter morning a couple years ago. It is presented full frame. I like the vari-colors and the memories the image elicits for me.

Hi Wendell. I like the colors and the texture of the clouds. Your landscape might need a slight CCW rotation and I would be tempted to crop the dark area from the bottom. Had you taken a couple of steps to the left the bush on the right would take up less of the frame. Very nice feel to this and the memories are one of things that makes photography so special to us.

Agree with comments and would also place the sun away form the middle Normally work out better toward the sides !!! The sky look great and I'm sure a little more contrast will make it look even better !!!

I am so glad you included the phrase "and the memories the image elicits for me".

I have a few landscape/sunset photos that probably wouldn't impress anybody, but to me they are treasures because of the memories ... come to think of it 75% of my photos probably wouldn't give anyone pleasure but me but I sure do enjoy them.

Good point Mark I think images are like songs ... some can bring back strong memories and feelings !!!

......... now what I try to do is bring a strong feeling form the viewer without any bg information ... just by looking at the image !!! From the critiquing point of view we are trying to guide you in making such images !!
