    50D + 400 f/5.6 f/8 1/1600sec ISO 400, unfortunately my HDD just crashed for good and lost the original :(

    Arash:

    Nice detail in the blacks, sharp,HA,wing position,BG.

    In a perfect world, the perch is perhaps bigger and more prominent than desired. Two small changes might downplay that. Crop up a bit form the bottom and burn it in more so that it doesn't compete so much with the bird.

    Good pose, and I love the green eye against the orange . I made a few enhancements, just for practice: Slimmed and darkened the perch, rotated
    CW, opened shadow details under the wings a little, and muted the background. Nice colors in the background, but to my eye they compete with the subject.

    Very nice image. I find nice details on the original image posted and in my opinion I don't see the repost realistic as there are relatively top lights. Sharpness and wing stretch is cool.

    Typical cormorant drying/ sunbathing pose. Good exposure on the blacks.
