Default Adult Peregrine Falcon "Pacific Ocean BG"

Here is a shot taken on Saturday these are very hard birds to shoot in flight as they can move out in a hurry.
This is a shot that I know would be much better if I had eye contact but still given the topside view and the
ocean bg make it pop off the screen. I really like the blood and skin on the bill as it just finished handing off
a meal to the Juvenile Peregrines. Me, Doug and Kristin had fun on Saturday....:)

    Thanks For Looking

Very nice Jim! Love the dorsal view and the overcast lighting on the sharp detail! I actually prefer the non eye contact here, as it doesn't put you "the photographer" in my mind. The bird looks to be hunting or defending territory and not concerned about you!

Very good detail captured in great light.
Ditto blood and skin on the bill.
Would love to have a good peregrine in my gallery.

Personally I don't think eye contact is always needed. This image represents the full concentration of a perfect raptor. I love it. The top side view is a real plus. Well done.

Great dorsal view, and love the feather detail James. Yep, the bloodied bill makes this image. Well captured.

Eye contact not nec' here Jim, IMHO. So much nicer this size! Great shot. Good to see your work again. I note we share the same barber! Clearly a man of taste.

Works for me Jim! We got one pass of the adult female against that beautiful Pacific Ocean BG and you made the most of it.
