This was a huge crop-so no fine feather details here, but I liked the bit of color starting to form on the lake as it started to get later. Oh and the single feather.

Yes, the single feather, very nice:)
Great image, especially considering the side light and large crop.

    Hi Denise,
For a "hugh crop" the image still presents nicely in my opinion. The head turn slightly back adds emotion or attitude to the swan. I agree that the bit of color is also pleasing. I am also glad you left the single feather in. The only thing I can think of that would make this more pleasing to me would be less of a shadow on the breast. Thanks for sharing.

Love the pose, eye contact, ruffled feathers, and sweet light Denise. Nice low angle. And I'm really glad you left the feather floating in the water!

The light looks really pretty here!
I think this held up really well for a huge crop Denise. :) I was at first thinking what is the feather there for? But very quickly mind you, I warmed up to it and I like it exactly where it is. Your swan appears to be looking right there so it is great!
    Thanks for sharing.

Great feel Lady D. The colors are very special and nothing to apologize for here! I love the way the swan is looking at that feather. "What are you doing over there?" :)
