Another motion blur... this one is from couple of years back. Here are the settings -

    300D, Canon 75-300mm @ 300mm
1/60 sec, f/5.6 Mode: Av Metering: Evaluative ISO: 100

Added canvas on the right and cropped. Hope you like it. C&C will be appriciated.

I do like the motion very much. I think as in your other blurred birdie, a slightly more defined head would have looked magnificent. I am so glad I am not the only person who has that killer optic, the 75-300. :D
    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks mate. Here is another version with a new head :) (Denise says... any subject with loose rules; I guess it is allowed!). Does this work better?

btw, I already got rid of the killer optic... that leaves only you :D is it?

Not sure if I like this better than the first now buddy. I'll let the experts decide. I laugh as I strive to capture sharp images, all this blur business leaves me fuzzy.

Don't you dare give me grief over my pro-grade lens! ;)

Indranil, This is OOTB! Of course it goes!! Just let us know as you did- I think I like the first one better. I would probably try to tone down the bright spots in Bg , in the ULC. I love the water splashing and the implied movement!!!

There seems to be a catchlight on the eye Indranil, maybe if you emphasized that a bit it might give the viewer'e eye more of an anchor point. Just a thought:)

Here is a repost with suggested changes...

    - back to the original version
    - toned down the bright spots on the background
    - changed the eye to give more focus
